INAUGURAL FOX CRICKET NATIONAL PREMIER T20 TOURNAMENT SET TO IGNITE

The 10 best Premier T20 clubs from around the country will converge on the Karen Rolton Precinct in Adelaide next week for the inaugural Fox Cricket National Premier T20 Championships.

 

The event will be played over two days with preliminary matches to take place on Tuesday and the Semi Finals and Final on the Wednesday.

 

To build anticipation leading into the tournament, teams will not know who they are playing in the preliminary matches until a live draw on the Monday night.

 

Qualification for the tournament was via each of the local State/Territory Premier T20 competitions with the following 10 teams successfully qualifying: Carlton (VIC) Dandenong (VIC), Sutherland, (NSW), Sydney University (NSW), North Hobart (TAS), Tuggeranong Valley (ACT), East Torrens (SA), University of Queensland (QLD), Melville (WA) and the City Cyclones (NT).

 

Play will commence on Tuesday 5 March at 10am with the Final scheduled to commence at Karen Rolton Oval at 2.30pm on Wednesday 6 March.

 

The tournament will be live streamed via cricket.com.au and live scores and results can also be tracked via www.npt20.com and relevant Cricket Australia social channels.
